Diamonds are forever, and they are the perfect way to celebrate the love of two people. This couple entered the door way here at house of diamonds wanting to upgrade their center stone and left with a true piece of art; to be cherished for generations.
The design process began with a simple sketch that was then transformed by our state of the art CAD system in to the wax model. Clients are able to try these models on to get a real feel of what their finished ring will look like. Going from top to bottom this particular ring has a sparkling 2 carat heart shaped center. Around the center there is a round brilliant pave halo.
To achieve this finished design it went through a 6 part construction to create the platinum ring the client wanted but also incorporating the solid 18 karat gold accents that were important to them. The accent round brilliant diamonds are graduated as the range in size from .20 to .005 carat giving a full and finished look.
Lastly is the square euro shank, a design feature we recommend to our clients for stability and comfort.

We are very excited to announce our latest project at House of Diamonds. We were selected as the chosen jewelers to build the Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors rings.
“The Ambassadors are the only group of its kind in the NFL and inductees into the group are hand-picked based mostly on tenure and their willingness to participate in Ambassador outreach events and meetings.”
Because the ambassadors contribute to scholarship funds and participate in charity golf tournaments in addition to other charity work; we knew that this amazing organization needed an astounding ring to represent them. All of us at House of Diamonds were privileged to see this fantastic organization at work when we were invited to their tailgate fundraiser at the beginning of the 2012 season.
The designing process began as Karen Cullinane put her creativity to work, knowing that these retired football players weren’t small guys and would need something structurally strong and substantial to perform well. Karen first made a picture using Computer Aided Design (CAD); combining old world craftsmanship with the cutting edge technology of CAD/CAM. Our equipment allows an elevated level of detail and design perfection. This advanced technology allowed the Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors to view their creation in a rotating digital format.
Next, Karen prepared a 3D model to show during the first presentation of the design, produced by our 3D printing technology. Upon meeting with Karen each model was then personalized with the recipient’s name and the number of years played with the Chiefs, with the option of adding more detail if they wished. Once the model was perfected, it was given to our jewelers who are known for their precise craftsmanship to commence a three-part casting process.
They began by casting the yellow gold base, next the background, and lastly the arrow heads were cast in white gold. The metal was then polished and refined. The detailed assembly process started with the setting of hand placed stones, 68 in total, on the plate to create a pave finish. Next, the jewelers added 5 stones to each side of the plates with a channel setting. They were then assembled, buff polished, and cleaned to perfection. All of the rings were completely finished up to the gallery and down to the square bottom euro-shank, a design feature added for extra stability and comfort.
We are very proud and excited to work with the Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors and look forward to doing more projects with them in the future. GO CHIEFS!

This custom ring is one that is simply charming and timeless with a modern appeal. The traditional round center stone is emphasized by its graceful halo and off set by two matching rounds adding symmetry and size to the ring. It was our clients wish to use a diamond from her original wedding ring, so it was incorporated in one of the side diamonds. Both white and yellow gold were used giving it a contemporary feel, while holding on to the vintage look our client wanted. Any finger would be lucky to be wearing this ring! Remember the House of Diamonds for all of your custom ring design needs, because we strive to do everything on your checklist and more.
